"Be in control of your body and not at its mercy" Joseph Pilates

Injury can occur from poor postural alignment - how you stand, sit at your desk, walk, drive your car, run or play sport.  In my small, bespoke classes I consider your whole body and specifically target the deep postural muscles to build strength from the inside out.  We work to rebalance the body by correcting postural alignment, increasing core stability and improving flexibility. All exercises are customised to your needs.  Your body will become longer, leaner and more toned plus it's a great way to relieve unwanted stress and tension. Pilates offers both mental and physical training, literally teaching you to be in control of your body and will play a key role with sports or injury rehabilitation.

I had never done Pilates until I started Katy’s classes. I’m enjoying the focus on core strength and Katy has been fantastic on tailoring her lessons to include elements that are specific to my requirements. She is also very flexible in adapting her classes to my limitations and she is constantly aware of everyone’s needs in the group. It’s very impressive and reassuring.  

I am now a Pilates convert. I see the long term benefits this form of exercise will bring to my life. I no longer need painkillers. This is all because of Katy and her infectious personality, complete professionalism and obvious love of a physical fitness system she feels passionately about. ​
